Work Schedule

Employees are required to work 37 1/2 hours per week excluding their busy season. Hours for busy season vary by department. The firm supports a flexible work schedule.

Denim Days

We hold monthly Denim Days to support a charitable organization - whether a client, or an organization where one of our employees is an active member. Employees are encouraged to wear jeans to the office in exchange for a donation to the charity of the month.

Quality of Life
Committee

Firm events include an annual family picnic, holiday party and golf outing. Throughout the year, the Quality of Life Committee organizes trips to sporting events, local Paint and Sips, Halloween Trick 'n Treat for families in the office to name a few of the activities. Employees are welcome to join the Quality of Life Committee. They are always looking for new and creative ways to have fun.

Training

Our training program blends on-the-job training with classroom seminars to provide opportunities to develop professional skills. Because our effectiveness as a service organization is dependent upon our people, we believe in exposing our staff to a broad range of industries and organizations so that they will develop an effective sense of general business in addition to technical competence.

Currently, our staff are undergoing soft skills and business development training to expand not only their skills inside the firm, but their networking relationships in the field. Nisivoccia has its own training facilities located at our headquarters in Mt. Arlington.

Nisivoccia also hosts an annual Young Professional event where staff can hone their skills and begin to build their own referral networks.

Internship / Recruiting

Our recruiting program starts early in most students' college careers. We offer a choice of experiences to those students who are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting. These include summer, winter, and extended internships, cooperative education, and similar arrangements sponsored by professional organizations and the student's school. In addition, we will work with potential candidates to tailor our programs to their needs. If you wish to earn academic credit while working with us, we will assist you and your school to accomplish your objective.
