Nisivoccia Celebrates Women’s History Month & International Women’s Day

international women's dayThis March, we celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day (March 8) by recognizing the achievements, leadership, and contributions of women across our firm, communities, and around the world. We attended several events throughout the month that recognize and celebrate women in our communities.

This month, Laura Lampron, Kristin Anderson, Alyson Council, Nicole Trewhella, and Vivian Atonya attended the 5th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast hosted by the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP). As proud sponsors of the event, it provided the opportunity to connect with other women in business while celebrating the social, economic, and political achievements of women.

Additionally, Jackie DeCataldo attended the 100 Women Project: Women’s History Month Breakfast at Sussex Community College. The 100 Women Project supports non-traditional female students returning to college by collecting a scholarship fund, one that has drastically grown over the past several years. This year, instead of hearing from one speaker, we were able to hear from the winners and their stories.

Laura Lampron also attended the 20th Annual NJ Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) Platinum Gala at The Grove in Cedar Grove. Here, several women within the legal profession were recognized and received the NJWLA’s Women Initiative and Leaders in Law (WILL) Platinum Award for their significant achievements and contribution towards gender equity challenges.

We’re proud to have shown our support by sponsoring and attending these events that recognize the leadership, hard work, and achievements of women, and we look forward to continuing to do so in the future.
