Kristin F. Anderson, CPA, PSA

Kristin began her career in the Tax Department of the international accounting firm Ernst & Young before joining Anderson & Company PC in 2008. She became a Partner at Anderson & Company PC in January 2016, where she maintained both audit and tax responsibilities while developing specialized expertise in serving New Jersey Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSDs), nonprofit organizations, and other highly regulated entities.

Following the merger of Anderson & Company PC with Nisivoccia LLP on January 1, 2022, Kristin joined Nisivoccia as a Principal and played an integral role in the successful transition of the Anderson firm into Nisivoccia. She became a Partner in 2025 in recognition of her leadership and contributions.

Kristin currently provides accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with deep specialization in APSSDs. She has extensive experience leading nonprofit, Single, and Yellow Book audits and is widely recognized for her expertise in the regulatory and compliance requirements impacting special education schools.

Kristin is a trusted advisor to APSSDs, industry associations, and state-level stakeholders. Her insight is regularly sought by schools, the New Jersey Association of Special Education Partner Schools (NJASEPS, formerly ASAH), and the New Jersey Department of Education. She is a frequent speaker on financial, audit, and compliance matters affecting APSSDs and has testified before the New Jersey Assembly Education Committee in support of legislation impacting the APSSD audit review process, most recently in May 2026, regarding proposed bill A-1646.

Kristin is an Affiliate Member of NJASEPS and previously served as the organization’s auditor for seven years.
