Tax Accountant Opportunity

At Nisivoccia, Tax Accountants possess excellent accounting skills combined with the ability to research tax topics while preparing business and personal tax returns.  Requiring strong communication skills, the Tax Accountant will collaborate across departments in the organization while effectively managing client accounts.  Time Management is a key skill which empowers the candidate to thrive in a high-energy environment. • Preparation of individual and business tax returns, utilizing ProSystems Tax Software

• Preparation of account reconciliations

• Preparation of financial statements

• Applying accounting skills, which include assisting clients with account analysis, adjustments, and maintaining general ledger

• Applying and researching tax laws to provide clients tax saving opportunities

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• 1-5 years of experience in public accounting

• Knowledge of ProSystems Tax Software preferred

• Possess CPA certification or have plans to pursue
