If You’re Not Withum, You’re Against ‘Em

On Monday, July 10, Nisivoccia showed no mercy to the “Big Brother” accounting firm, Withum, Smith & Brown, with a final score of Nisivoccia 22 and Withum, Smith & Brown 8.

Nisivoccia had played Withum earlier in the season and dominated that game as well.

While it was a win for Nisivoccia both times, Mark Jensen, Former coach and IT Director, said there was a difference this game.

“This time, the offence was powered by the ‘mighty bat’ of Nick Kaijala who put up an incredible 7 RBI and 3 Runs scored game off of a crushed, legitimate 2 run bomb in the first inning that cleared the left center field fence followed by 2 singles and a triple to complete a monster night.”

Nisivoccia dominated the entire game holding Withum scoreless through 5 & 2/3 innings, before giving up the first run. Withum was able to tack on 4 runs in the sixth, and an additional 3 in the seventh, but it still was not enough to stop the Nisivoccia train who once again put up 20 plus runs.

The outcome of the Withum game helped Nisivoccia improve to 6 & 2, and is only second in the division to Hennion & Walsh who is 9 & 2.
