Mt. Arlington, New Jersey (January 2, 2025) – Nisivoccia proudly announces the promotion of Kristin Anderson, CPA, to Partner, effective January 1, 2025. Kristin’s admission as a Partner reflects her outstanding contributions to the firm and her extensive expertise in both audit and tax services.

With nearly two decades of professional experience, Kristin has established herself as a leader in the accounting field. She began her career in the Tax Department at Ernst & Young, a global accounting firm, before joining Anderson & Company PC in 2008. In 2016, she became a Partner at Anderson & Company, delivering critical audit and tax services to a diverse range of clients, including both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Following the 2022 merger of Anderson & Company with Nisivoccia, Kristin joined the firm as a Principal. Since then, she has been instrumental in broadening the firm’s capabilities and enhancing client services, specifically in our expertise and client base within the Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSD) segment.

Kristin is renowned for her leadership and advocacy in the field of education for students with disabilities. As a dedicated member of ASAH—the Association for Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSDs)—she has worked tirelessly to support the mission of these schools. Her commitment was exemplified when she testified before the New Jersey Assembly Education Committee to advocate for Senate Bill No. 2927, a measure aimed at protecting APSSDs in matters related to independent audits. Kristin’s expertise and dedication to this cause underscore her unwavering commitment to advancing opportunities for vulnerable populations.

A graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, Kristin earned her Bachelor of Administration with a concentration in accounting. She is a licensed CPA in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and holds memberships in the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Outside of her professional pursuits, Kristin serves on multiple not-for-profit boards, reflecting her dedication to community service.

Kristin resides in Fanwood, New Jersey, where she raises her two children. Her leadership, expertise, and steadfast commitment to clients and the community make her a valuable addition to Nisivoccia’s partnership team. We look forward to the continued impact Kristin will make in her new role.
