What’s New:

For 2024 property taxes, New Jersey has merged three major programs – Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and the new Stay NJ – into one single application: Form PAS-1.

Eligible homeowners age 65+ with 2024 income below $500,000 may receive up to 50% of their 2024 property tax bill (capped at $6,500 in year one, with a long-term cap of $13,000).

To qualify for 2024 relief, file Form PAS-1 by October 31, 2025. Payments are expected to begin in early 2026 after other benefits are calculated.
