At Nisivoccia, Senior Auditors are expected to plan and oversee the auditing process with our clients throughout the State of New Jersey and surrounding areas. Senior Auditors review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance, perform effective risk and control assessment, complete audits on time and present audit findings in accordance with the policies and procedures instituted by firm management. The ideal candidate possesses the following abilities:

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team through the planning and execution of an audit review or compilation engagement
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement
• Manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Report proactively on progress to the partnership, as appropriate

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluency in QuickBooks – desktop and online
• Utilization of Technology – ProSystem fx Engagement (FirmFlow, GFR)
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
• Possesses CPA license or has plans to obtain it
