Nisivoccia Attends Annual Special Education Day

This month, we were personally invited to join NJASEPS at its annual Special Education Day event. Partner Kristin Anderson, a growing leader within the Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSD) sector, had the opportunity to attend and celebrate the impact of special education within New Jersey.

The 2026 Special Education Day brought together educators, families, and students, recognizing their achievements. It also featured an awards presentation, where several students were awarded scholarships for the outstanding accomplishments.

Kristin also had the chance to spend time with Jimmy, a golden retriever therapy dog from Larc Norcross School, who brought plenty of smiles to the event.

It was a pleasure connecting with the educators, students and families who continue to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
